Why decarbonisation?

Decarbonisation refers to the process of reducing the carbon intensity, i.e., reducing the amount of greenhouse gas emissions produced across sectors

Reducing the energy load in a building to the maximum extent possible without compromising comfort or convenience for its occupants.

This course is called Deep Decarbonisation because it not only addresses the direct energy use of consumers, but also the embodied energy used at the source of energy generation in such power plants producing so-called 'dirty power'.

Decarbonisation is essential because India's resources are at an alarming low already and the models of the past of such massive consumption of water or energy cannot continue into the future.

This would lead to a disastrous crisis for the country and all business in the near future; not far but ten years only.

We believe, if you know how to ask the most relevant questions, more than half your job is done. This is possible if you are aware of the Environment and Social Governance (ESG) for any business and SDG's for any nation.

This program is designed to help the participants learn:

  • How to do case exercises

  • How to make boardroom pitches for green solutions that bring high returns

  • How to make the company environmentally responsible and

  • Learn to build the social and sustainable brand of the organization.

Why any graduates or professional  should learn ?

Most managers do not know that the returns on such  investments in green solutions can fetch financial yields of as much as 20% and more, specially in water and energy solutions. Get an edge over your peers !

GBL Professional would be able to ask the right questions in the companies or organizations, and not be at the 'mercy' of vendors and service providers who offer technical knowledge that you do not know how to understand and make a business case out of.
